Below we have provided a tiny sample of the tools used for traffic engineering. They are from 20 to 30 years old. Very few organizations still have access to this type information. With PC's the analysis has been automated, and with automation, a loss of user understanding has occurred. They are applicable to any traffic including LAN and Telephony services.

This Table provides the probability of a connection being blocked based upon the % utilization measured in Erlangs (Hours) of traffic "offered".

In order to be legible, this table is very large. The sample below partially shows 2 of 50 lines. Servers or trunks at left and numbers in the box are Erlangs (offered).
